Executive Summary
ITS Malaysia participated in the China International ITS Industry Expo 2026 (CITSE 2026) in Xiamen, a major international platform showcasing new developments in intelligent transport ecosystems and overseas expansion opportunities.
A strong Malaysian contingent of more than 30 participants attended, representing industry, academia, and government, and reinforcing Malaysia's role in regional technical exchange and partnership development.
Delegation and Representation
- The delegation was led by ITS Malaysia President YBhg. Dato' Sri Ir. Hj. Ismail bin Md. Salleh.
- YBrs. Ir. Mohd Hadzmir bin Yusoff, Director General of the Malaysian Highway Authority, joined the high-level delegation.
- A representative from the Highway Planning Division of the Ministry of Works also contributed to the strategic exchange.
Key Participation
- The President delivered an official address during the grand opening ceremony.
- ITS Malaysia signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ITS China to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
- The MHA Director General presented on smart highways during the BRICS Forum on Intelligent Transportation Technology.
