Asia-Pacific Road User Charging Summit 2026

Executive Summary

ITS Malaysia officially expanded its regional footprint by joining the Asia-Pacific Road User Charging Alliance during the 2026 International Green and Smart Mobility Forum and the 1st Asia-Pacific Road User Charging Summit in Taipei.

The summit created a practical platform for alignment on sustainable mobility financing, regional policy coordination, and the wider transition toward next-generation digital and electrified transport funding models.

ITS Malaysia Representation

• The Malaysian delegation was led by ITS Malaysia President Dato' Sri Ir. Hj. Ismail.
• Treasurer General Ir. Lee Choy Hin accompanied the delegation for the alliance membership ceremony.
• ITS Malaysia continued to act as a bridge between national transport interests, the Ministry of Works, and global ITS organizations.
